A kinky pseudo-documentary warning young women against the perils of hitch-hiking, the film is based on real-life newspaper reports embellished with lashings of nudity, sex, drugs and violence. Originally released at the Pigalle Cinema in London’s West End in 1975, the movie played solidly for 48 weeks. To celebrate its 50^th anniversary, Take an Easy Ride makes its worldwide debut on blu-ray with a host of brand-new extras.
