Description

When beautician Clara Calhoun (Jane Randolph) and her crooked boyfriend Duke Martins (John Ireland) plan to rob a bookie goes awry they frame Steve Ryan (Ed Kelly), an innocent man, for the crime and the killing of a cop during the getaway. Homicide Detective Mickey Ferguson is assigned to the case and believes Steve to be guilty, despite his attraction to his sister Rosie (Shelia Ryan). Working together they try to find proof of Steve s innocence, but the suave and ruthless Duke doesn t hesitate to keep himself out of the picture. From renowned director Anthony Mann (El Cid, The Glenn Miller Story) Railroaded!, together with T-Men, marked his notable foray into film noir.
