Description
The Night of Death
It’s 1980 and, having been unemployed for eight months, Martine (Isabelle Goguey) jumps at the chance when offered a job in an isolated old people’s home. Her 50-something employer, Hélène Robert (Betty Beckers), is a little intimidating, the handyman (Michel Flavius) is rather sinister, and the ageing boarders are an eccentric lot, to put it mildly. But Martine feels she’s fallen on her feet. Then come the mysteries. What became of Martine’s young predecessor Nicole (Charlotte de Turckheim)? Why are there so few residents, and why do they look so well preserved? What can it mean when Martine finds a press photo of the youthful Hélène dated 1886? And what role does the so-called Golden Needle Killer play in all of this?
Bloodbath at the House of Death

A superb horror spoof from 1984 in which six scientists arrive at the creepy Headstone Manor to investigate a strange phenomena which was the site of a mysterious massacre years earlier where 18 guests were killed…
